This is a part-time (average 20 hrs/wk), contract position reporting to the Director of Special Events.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;The Pacific Coast Wine Festival has become one of the three major fundraising events for Pacific Symphony and one of the most respected wine auctions in California. The sold out event held in Newport Beach, features an unmatched lineup of tasting wines from multiple countries. For the 2010 Festival, Italy and Spain showcased Antinori and Vega Sicilia. France and New Zealand were well represented, and the American wines included some of California’s most famous offerings. Equally impressive was the quality of the live and silent auction items. High bidders took home Lafite, Latour, Petrus, Margaux, Harlan, Colgin, Marcassin, Hundred Acre, and many others. The wine tasting, auctions, and wine paired dinner concluded with the tasting of gourmet chocolates and vintage port. The festival set new records for attendance, revenue, and press coverage. It was featured on “The Taste Buds” with Anthony Dias Blue.
